Sweet winter session in downtown Clovis. It was just a few days after Christmas and downtown Clovis was still bustling with shoppers. It was a beautiful winter day with the cool wind and sunshine surrounding our faces. The girls were cold at first but quickly I had them running around to warm themselves up. I have known the Pack family for several years and I have loved to see them grow as a family. The first time I visited their house I noticed a gallery wall filled with beautiful canvas portraits from a previous family session. I remember being enamored that the Pack family valued and shared their portraits with family and friends. This year was the first time we got together for a family session and I felt so honored that they chose me- I can’t wait for next time!
It is so important for families to take the time and take family portraits annually (semi-annually if you’re an over-achiever). Of course, we all know it takes time and energy to plan and coordinate a family photo shoot. When you book with me, I will help guide you to guarantee images you will love. I want you to post your pictures all over your timeline, share them with friends and family, but most importantly, I want you to print them and hang them in your home. There is this awesome blog post from Design Aglow that details the benefits of having family portraits printed and displayed in your home. Check it out here!
On this winter afternoon, I loved capturing priceless memories and heirloom portraits and then promptly eating ice cream. Ice cream in winter… why the heck not!? Some of the sweetest moments were taken at the ice cream shop which we visited Scoops, Soups & More. It was a blast letting the girls be carefree and capturing their truest emotions while getting brain freezes.
