Baby Lily
When I first met Heather at Starbucks she had the warmest smile with the quick sarcastic wit. We worked mornings together and we quickly became friends. Heather was always there for a listening ear, thoughtful words and a helping hand. A couple of years ago, when I was first getting into photography, I wanted to explore newborn photography. I needed a newborn backdrop setup and I found a DIY PVC pipe backdrop online. I recruited Heather to come to Home Depot with me and gather all the supplies – it came together perfectly.
When I got the call from Heather that she was PREGNANT and wanted me to do her newborn photos, I was over the moon! We decided on an intimate in-home lifestyle session. It was all about that afternoon sunlight, couch snuggles and baby toes for little Lily. She was only 19 days old when we met and I can’t wait to share these images with her when she’s 19 years old.
One thing I love about lifestyle sessions is that I get to feel a part of the family. I am lounging on the couch and sharing the same laughs with you. Some of my clients expressed that they don’t have a perfect home and that they are worried. One thing I do is clear out an area or two of your home and focus our photos in those areas. I am looking for the best light, minimal distractions and somewhere cozy. Your home doesn’t have to be perfect for me – because it’s already perfect for your family.
What is stopping you from booking your in-home session? Let’s bake some cookies together or make-your-own pizzas. Maybe a little hot chocolate bar in the winter-time or a sundae bar in the summer. What other activities do you like to do with your family?
