September is by far my favorite month – the start of autumn, there’s just a slight chill in the air and it is the perfect month for celebrations! Bethany + Steve decided they wanted to come to California to celebrate their union with Bethany’s family. Steve’s family also joined in on the celebration all the way from Texas. Thank goodness Sanger showed up with the perfect 75-degree weather and a beautiful sunset. During their initial consultation, Bethany told me that it was important she celebrated with her Aunt + Uncle and that the wedding felt intimate. When talking to Bethany + Steve about their planning process, they said everything they originally had envisioned took a completely different turn when it was all said and done. Ceremony location, flowers, menu, and indoor/ outdoor reception were all aspects of the wedding that changed from their original plans. Beth jokingly told me the only thing that didn’t change from their original plans, was who was getting married. But in the end, it’s not all about the decor, it’s about the unity of you as a couple and sharing that love with your select friends + family. Bethany + Steve’s wedding was a labor of love and had most of the details and decor was DIY. Everything turned out beautifully and it had the perfect loving touch to all the details. Bethany + Steve’s advice to all the couples out there planning their wedding is to accept with gratitude.
“Remember to be grateful! Take help when help is offered, even if it means something changes a little bit. At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter how the yard lights were arranged, just that everyone could see you once the sun went down.”
I couldn’t have said it better myself!
Enjoy your photos!!
Look at this little happy family. Perfection
I loved how much joy + laughter there was during this ceremony. You can hear the laughter through the photos!
Bethany even took care of her friends’ birthday! How sweet is that?
I specialize in inclusive wedding photography for all. I went from being engayged to being a Fresno Wedding Photographer when I couldn't find any photographers locally who held my same values.
Fueled by equal parts coffee and passion, I believe your story, your love, is beautiful and I can't wait to capture it in images you will treasure for years to come. I believe in real moments and genuine connection. In the kinds of images that remind you of the joy that can be found in the simplest of moments together.
Engagement sessions can serve multiple purposes. Not only can they be your wedding announcements and save the dates, your images are also artwork for your home! Grab a free guide to style your engagement for a timeless look for your day.
