When I first registered for ShowIt United, they had listed all the styled shoots for the week. I immediately fell in love with the idea of shooting the Vegas-styled elopement. It just seemed like the perfect set up for the beautiful location at the Marriott Phoenix Buttes. The weather was absolutely perfect at 75 degrees and surprisingly there were clouds in the sky! It had rained earlier in the day and it created the picture-perfect sky for the shoot. When I saw Erin + Elana I knew it was the perfect shoot for me. I was not expecting a queer couple, but I was pleasantly surprised! You see earlier that week I had tried to schedule a shoot with another couple but due to work schedules, we couldn’t get together. I was so bummed that I wasn’t able to get any lgbtq+ couples to photograph. On the last morning of the conference, all my friends were at styled shoots and I decided I would walk around and take scenery photos around the property. I got up early and grabbed my coffee and was enjoying all the succulents + cacti around the property. I noticed I had a missed call from one of my friends, which I honestly thought was a butt dial. But I have some of the most amazing + considerate friends that they found a way to let me into the styled shoot to capture Erin + Elana! I am so grateful for my amazing friends and over the moon excited with the images I got. I hope you enjoy these Vegas inspired elopement photos. 

Side note – It is so important to me that the couple used in this styled shoot are a real married couple and all interactions are completely genuine! Enjoy!
