When your love story starts with late-night laughs and road trips to the coast, it only makes sense that your wedding would feel just as heartfelt, fun, and full of meaning. Destiny + Brandon chose to get married in Cambria, California — a place that’s been part of their story since the beginning — and their day was a perfect reflection of who they are: warm, grounded, intentional, and so full of joy.
They brought their closest family to a private estate nestled in the hills of Cambria, where ocean air meets mountain views and everything just feels softer. Honestly? The entire day felt like a deep exhale.

The Love That Built This Day
Destiny + Brandon live in Fresno with their daughter Breanna, and they spend a lot of their time escaping to the coast. It’s their favorite kind of reset — and a place they’ve loved since their early days of dating, when they’d visit almost monthly. So having a Cambria wedding was more than just a pretty location; it was like returning to the roots of their relationship.
And their story? It’s built on all the good stuff: humor, love, teamwork, commitment, and communication. The way they talk about each other is so pure — Destiny remembers how Brandon made her laugh like no one else ever had, and Brandon said he was drawn in by Destiny’s smile and positivity. That energy stayed with them all the way through their wedding day.

Can we just take a moment to admire the most perfect first look?

Tequila Toasts + Homemade Limoncello
The ceremony took place on a wide wooden deck with panoramic views of the green rolling hills. It was simple, sweet, and deeply emotional — followed by one of my favorite things ever: a tequila shot at the altar (because why not start your marriage with a little fire and fun?).

After the ceremony, Destiny + Brandon were joined by their family for a group toast with homemade limoncello (Yes, their family made it. And yes, it was incredible.) — a family tradition made even more special by the fact that their people had literally crafted it for them. It was such a beautiful, grounding moment of connection. The kind that makes you pause and say, “Yup, this is what weddings are really about.”

Letting the Coastline Speak for Itself
When we talked about the vision for their wedding, Destiny told me they didn’t want to overdo it on decor — they really wanted the landscape to shine. And honestly, the estate didn’t need much. It was wrapped in greenery and wildflowers, with a view that stole the show and a breeze that carried so much peace.
When golden hour rolled in, we snuck away for portraits. That golden, glowy light hit just right as they danced in the grass, held each other close, and breathed it all in. There were no big productions or forced poses — just presence, connection, and the kind of love that’s built to last.

A Cambria Wedding That Felt Like Home
From their earliest road trip dates to this exact mountaintop, Destiny + Brandon built a love story that’s rooted in laughter, respect, and making time for what matters. This wedding wasn’t about a big production — it was about being fully present, celebrating with intention, and sharing a space they adore with the people they love most.
If you’re dreaming about a Cambria wedding that’s true to you — whether it’s a big bash, a backyard dinner party, or a tequila-shot-at-the-altar moment — I’d be so honored to photograph it. There’s something about this place that just gets it.
Big hugs and even bigger love to Destiny, Brandon, and Breanna. You three made this day unforgettable. 💛
