Amongst all the craziness of COVID19 it was the most perfect Las Vegas Wedding. Abbey and James had so many dreams for their wedding day, from a luxurious Vineyard in Temecula to an unforgettable wedding in the pacific islands. 2020 has throw a lot of plans to the wayside and Abbey + James are no exception to adjusting their wedding plans.
After giving up their vineyard and island wedding they decided to runaway together to Las Vegas and make their elopement as memorable as possible.
We started off at the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign to get some classic portraits of them to commemorate their wedding in classic Las Vegas. We then drove south east to a little ghost town in Nelson. It was the perfect backdrop for their elopement.
I loved photographing at this ghost town with so many different backdrops in one location. We started off at the classic pink car to compliment Abbey’s pink dress. We then moved onto the old church onsite that was the perfect backdrop for their elopement. The light came through the church at the most perfect time, check out those sunflares! We followed up the church with some desert portraits and some smoke bombs! Of course we had to do a pink smoke bomb, Abbey’s favorite color. We finished the day with some portraits of them walking in the road.
If it weren’t for COVID we would’ve gotten some awesome portraits on the Strip. I can’t wait for my next Las Vegas Wedding.
