Summer in Fresno is no joke as we are mostly in the triple digits from June – to mid-September. I always remind my clients that they want to choose the right venue if you’re wanting to host your ceremony or reception outside.
It has evergreen foliage so no matter the time of the year, there are beautiful backdrops surrounding the property. Wolf Lakes Park also has a fantastic indoor/ outdoor reception venue with the ability to cool the space and keep your guests comfortable. Thankfully Michael +Macy lucked out and we were only in the 90s the day of the wedding.
The feeling of love was palpable throughout the wedding. It’s truly a joyous feeling to witness the unity of two individuals and their two families.
Although I have to admit, I am a little biased and I adore all weddings at Wolf Lakes Park. It is where I got married to my wife just a few years ago and every time I photograph at the venue it brings me back to that amazing day. My wife and I chose the lakeside venue, but Michael + Macy decided to on the English Garden.
They both are stunning and the reception space at either side of the venue overlooks the beautiful lake. The difference lies in the ceremony location. The lakeside has the ceremony overlooking the beautiful lake and is more of an open feel as you’re getting married under an open wooden gazebo. Whereas the ceremony location at the English Garden is more secluded as it is surrounded by beautiful florals and stone columns covered in greenery.
Macy + Michael went straight to the reception after their ceremony. One of my favorite moments is when Macy’s Mom welcomed Michael into the family with open arms and cherished him as the newest addition to the Reagan family.
Check out the photos below!
Michael + Macy ended the night surrounded by hundreds of twinkling lights during their sparkler exit. One of the hardest things about weddings is wrangling tipsy guests with open flames who are wearing very flammable hairspray.
