Due to covid, their wedding was rescheduled a few times. Although that was heartbreaking, it allowed us to have another session together. Our first engagement was in Sacramento (Check it out here!) That session was over 2 years ago and you can see how much I have progressed. From posing, to styling and to editing, you can see the growth in my business. Thank you Raquel + Maggie for choosing me!
We started off in the valley right behind the Ahwahnee hotel. Many of the trees weren’t as vibrant as I had wanted, but this one little tree was the perfect spot. There was a group of about 10 right behind us, but when going to Yosemite for your session, you should expect a little bit of an audience. Thankfully the embarrassment goes away pretty quickly and you’ll just be focused on me giving you posing queues.
I was wanting a classic autumn photo with leaves falling around them. However, their wasn’t enough wind to make it happen. So I enlisted the help of my amazing wife and assistant (some days) and she gathered up a bunch of fallen leaves and through them for me to grab a few photos. I love how it turned out, definitely brought a lot of laughter to Maggie + Raquel.
October in Yosemite is the perfect time of year for an engagement session. Perfect weather, not too crowded and the variety of colors is beautiful. I highly recommend this Yosemite October Engagement Session.
Before we finished our session at Tunnel View, we stopped by the lookout overlooking the bottom of the valley. This was jaw-dropping. If I am being honest, I love the bottom of the valley more than I love Tunnel view, I mean how can you not? But you tell me, which one do you prefer?

I specialize in inclusive wedding photography for all. I went from being engayged to being a Fresno Wedding Photographer when I couldn't find any photographers locally who held my same values.
Fueled by equal parts coffee and passion, I believe your story, your love, is beautiful and I can't wait to capture it in images you will treasure for years to come. I believe in real moments and genuine connection. In the kinds of images that remind you of the joy that can be found in the simplest of moments together.
